The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth....for from His fullness we have received, grace upon grace. John 1:14-16

Ended the 2024 school year

We had so much to give thanks for in the month of November. All of our kiddos finished the third term of the school year and all were promoted to the next grade level.

 Akram graduated top class (Kindergarten) and we were able to attend his graduation ceremony.

Thanksgiving meal

While the traditional "Thanksgiving" is not celebrated in Uganda, we, as a family at Whispers of Love take the day to gather all of our staff together to be thankful for all that we have accmplished this year and to pray for us to end the year strong together. We ate roasted meat, matooke, greens and fried rice. The kiddos and staff had a great time!

Christmas Preparations

The last two years our kiddos have enjoyed acting out a "Live Nativity" for different groups of visitors we get throughout the Christmas season. It helps our chidlren to grasp a better understanding of the Christmas story as well as provides fun entertainment to our guest!

We also all enjoyed decorating our home for Christmas, the garland is a huge hit every year!

Each year we set out with a huge goal to give Christmas food baskets to families in our community, and families of children that have passed through Whispers of Love's programs over the years. This year we set out to give baskets to 42 families and we still need to raise money for 30 more food baskets. All Christmas Donations made for $150.00 and above will be given a Christmas card handmade by the kiddos at Whispers of Love
